Concert report from Bob
I attended the first Radio Star Country Gospel Concert on 29th February 2012 and wondered how it would go as it was the first time this had been done by Radio Star Country.
We arrived early and the artist and band were still setting up but slowly the people arrived, you wonder to yourself how will it go? You know that much prayer had gone into lead up to the event but how would the Lord use the evening to bless the audience?
The event started the first gospel artist was Gerry Black he sang 5 gospel songs and then handed over to Margret Johnston who came to the stage with her accordion and backing band as she sang and spoke she lifted the name of The Lord Jesus Christ and the spirits of the people, the music was blessed of God and the Spirit moved.
Then came Redeemed - on the night they were 1 member down due to sickness but the ministry in song was wonderful if you closed you eyes so that you had no distraction you could hear the harmony of the voices and the lovely music blending together, a real tribute to the Lord.
Kathryn Mitchell came to the stage and exhorted the Lord in song and as usual the Spirit flowed throughout the room a great blessing.
Nigel Davidson then sung his tributes in song unto the Lord with a great rendition of " I pledge allegiance to the Lamb".
The evening was rounded off by Justified who again blessed the audience with more wonderful gospel songs, great harmonies and a real flow of the Spirit of Christ which blessed the listeners.
A great night was had by all, so when Radio Star Country has their next Gospel Concert be there! Don't miss out on a true blessing in song from the ministries in song of the Gospel Artists.
